Biopsy Sciences develops breast biopsy site markers. Biopsy Sciences offers HydroMARK, a biodegradable hydrogel polymer that includes a central permanent metal marker that marks a breast biopsy site. Biopsy Sciences also provides BioSEAL, a biopsy tract sealant, which reduces the incidence of pneumothorax and chest tube placement following CT guided lung biopsy. Biopsy Sciences has been founded in 2001 and is based in Clearwater, Florida.
