Café Bazaar is the provider of an application and digital content marketplace, catering primarily to a Persian-speaking audience, with nearly 40 million users. 29 million people use Café Bazaar every month and 5.3 million use it every day. It is easily the largest app store in Iran, with 85% of the market share. Café Bazaar was founded in January 2014 and quickly became a leading company in Iran’s thriving private information technology sector. It is a product of the Hezardastan Information Technology Development Group, a fully private firm owned by an international group of shareholders.
