Cooper University Health Care is an academic health system that offers effective systems of care, bringing people and resources together. Cooper University Health Care has more than 700 physicians in more than 75 specialties. The health system had been the clinical campus of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School at Camden since 1978 and is now training the next generation of physicians at its new Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. It offers training programs for medical students, residents, fellows, nurses, and allied health professionals in a variety of specialties. Cooper University Health Care's mission is to serve, to heal, and to educate. It is founded on 1887 and is headquartered in Camden, New Jersey.
