DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY
The Department of Surgery at the University of Wisconsin is one of the finest surgical programs in the country, offering exceptional patient care, surgical education, and surgical research. They are composed of 130 full-time faculty members and 500 full-time support staff members. They perform almost 22,000 procedures per year for pediatric and adult patients in the fields of acute care and regional general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery.
