By searching or subscribing, consumers are able to easily obtain preferential information. The platform also offers other functions such as sign in, price comparison, filtering, payment, and social features that allow consumers to meet others and leave comments. Doujiao.com reported that its applications had reached approximately 10 million downloads. Among its 6 million users, about 60,000 are registered users. Doujiao.com was founded in August 2011. In July 2012, the company received US$4 million in its Series A round of funding from IDG.
