It is created by a small group of artists who had grown tired of the negativity, clutter, data mining, and advertisement that had invaded other social networks, thus, enabling community members to discover, discuss, publish, share. and promote the things they are passionate about and earn a living through their art and creativity. Ello was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado.
