FARMIST

Farmist is an online platform for small farmers to find, share, and organize the most relevant information about farming and agriculture. The platform is an agricultural information pin board for farmers giving them access to a wider range of information at their fingertips. Farmers are able to find things that are useful and pin them to the site and help their peers see what is buzzing in agriculture that day. Farmist aims to connect small farmers with important resources such as access to research institutions, universities, non-profits, and government sources. Farmist was launched in March 2012 in Chicago, Illinois.
