Garden Answers is a San Diego-based company that offers cutting-edge plant identification technology for mobile devices and has built a community of gardening experts who offer advice and guidance to their users. Alex Shah is the founder of My Garden Answers and formerly CTO for CommerceTel. Previously, he was Senior Vice President of R&D at Blue Titan, a Draper Fisher funded venture, where he led the development of software tools to manage complex IT integration challenges. In 2004, he became Owner and Principle Architect of TeamSOA, a software architecture consulting for several financial industry related clients, including VISA Int’l Inc., and France Telecom. Shah holds eight patents for his inventions.
