Gefn ehf. is a start-up company developing, engineering, implementing and commercialising innovative technology for flexible localised production of green chemicals used in human & animal nutrition, personal care & cosmetics, detergents & cleaners and production of specialty chemicals & new types materials. Gefn's technology offers sustainable and CO2 negative processes and products by valorisation of oleo-related wastes and CO2 from carbon-neutral processes and air. Gefn's processes support localised value chains; they can be integrated with existing oleochemical plants and/or biomass fermentation processes synergistically improving the overall economics and environmental profiles by higher raw material utilisation, waste reduction and CO2 binding.
