INTERPOL

Interpol is an international police organization that enables law enforcement organizations all over the world to combat transnational crime. It provides a high-tech infrastructure of technical and operational support to enable police forces in 190 member countries to meet the growing challenges of crime. Interpol’s global police communications system enables law enforcement officers to directly check a range of vital police databases. It uses a system of color-coded international notices to locate, arrest, and provide warnings about fugitives and other criminals. Interpol was formed in 1914 and is headquartered in Lyon, France.
