KBA was setup by Government of Kerala, India with a Vision of "Leveraging Blockchain Technology for Public Good". KBA is an Associate Member and Official Training Partner of Linux Foundation Hyperledger Project and a General Partner of R3 Consortium for Corda Blockchain. KBA is a Knowledge Partner of IBF and Content Partner of Blockchain Education Network. KBA have a Project Division called KBA Blockchain Garage that build solutions on blockchain technology which is funded and awarded by many organizations like Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, BIRAC, US Consulate Chennai, NITI Aayog etc
