Lokkal is Belgium’s first app-only supermarket - or should we say fresh market - founded with a mission to make better, fresher, and locally-sourced seasonal products more accessible to consumers. Furthermore, Lokkal wants to create more awareness about the origin of food and its ecological impact. The app offers extraordinary delicious and fresh food coming from more than 100 suppliers, mainly smaller and local specialists. Lokkal buys products directly from farmers, fishermen, growers, and all kinds of suppliers all over the country. As a consequence all products have a fair price - both for supplier and consumer - and don’t make unnecessary stops in the logistic chain.
