MetaSepia is an optical proximity transactions system for mobile devices, offering a ubiquitous offline mobile to online mobile payments extension. MetaSepia offers a mobile to mobile system similar to Mobile NFC and using the Optical system instead of RF or NFC services. MetaSepia also offers an mobile offline to online merchant payments at the mPOS that is ubiquitous and unique in allowing direct mobile transactions at the online merchant cloud services. We use the front-facing cameras to analyze the screens on the mobile devices, enabling data sharing. The use of a merchant mPOS as a pass-through device enables secure Point2Point Encryption via typical TLS/SSL security, and the transaction is cloud-based.
