Johnny Monsarrat was Founder and CEO of Turbine, which Warner Bros. bought for $160MM. His new business, Monsarrat, includes the former: COO of Atari, 2nd CTO of Tencent (the world's largest videogames company), CTO of Take-Two, VP Games from King, Managing Director at Intel Capital, EVP and President at Universal Studios, and COO of Lucasfilm. Mobile AR is booming, with a dozen hits including Pokémon Go earning $4B, Dragon Quest Walk $650MM. But they don't retain players as well as MMO games, which harness community. Monsarrat's adds revolutionary MMO, map, advertising, AI, and AR technology to transform the economics of mobile AR. Monsarrat has built a prototype, and an A-list Hollywood franchise has offered a contract to promote the game.
