MOUNT ISA WATER BOARD

Mount Isa Water Board is a certified water service provider and a Category One Water Authority created under Chapter 4 of the Water Act 2000. They operate as a commercialized statutory authority in the Mount Isa region of Queensland, carrying out water activities. They are in charge of supplying bulk water to industrial customers as well as drinking water to Mount Isa City Council. They are also trustees for Lake Moondarra, the city's main water and recreation reserve, which serves as a wildlife refuge as well as a popular leisure and water sports facility for Mount Isa residents.
