NIDCAP FEDERATION INTERNATIONAL
NIDCAP Federation International envisions a world in which all hospital infants and their families are cared for using the NIDCAP model, which is founded on scientific facts. For infants, their families, and the people that care for them, NIDCAP promotes development, builds strengths, and relieves stress. It is tailored to the person and employs a relationship based, family integrated approach that produces demonstrable results. The mission is to be the responsible personnel in newborn personalized developmental care and as being research, development, and dissemination, as well as certification of trainers, health care professionals, and nurseries in the NIDCAP method.
