North Bennet Street School There are lots of vocational schools out there, but few of them can boast the heritage of North Bennet Street School (NBSS). NBSS has been in operation for more than 125 years, and continues to offer unique academics in many skilled trades. North Bennet Street School currently offers the following training programs: * Bookbinding * Cabinet and Furniture Making * Carpentry * Jewelry Making and Repair * Locksmithing and Security Technology * Piano Tec... hnology * Preservation Carpentry * Violin Making and Repair These programs are intended for full-time study, and most run for 36 weeks, 72 weeks or two years. If you’re looking for a shorter-term training solution, NBSS also offers continuing education workshops. Financial aid eligibility at NBSS depends on the program you choose to enroll in. Federal financial aid is available, as well as one-year institutional scholarships based on need. Private scholarships are a good source for additional assistance beyond your financial aid package. North Bennet Street School has a rolling admissions policy.
