ODG Technologies Ltd was established in 2010 to supply portable radio accessories for sale to the global public safety market. The company’s first product is an active noisecancelling handset (speaker microphone) for mobile radios. ODG's primary market is first responders — firefighters and police — in the public safety industry, particularly in the US. There are 480,000 handsets sold annually in the US, which equates to a $33m market. That does not include an installed base of 4.4 million users, which offers a significant upgrade market. Active noise-cancelling speaker microphones are new to the industry.
