f you’ve always wanted to become a filmmaker, but don’t have the time or resources to attend a four-year university, you can check out the Palm Beach Film School in West Palm Beach, Florida, where you can learn how to write, shoot, direct and edit your own short film in months. The academics offered by the school consist of two intensive training programs. The basic filmmaking program is a 104-hour certificate program that educates students with little to no filmmaking experience in screenw... riting, pre-production and post-production. Students with prior experience looking to take on advanced filmmaking can choose the advanced program, a 344-hour diploma training program. All students use the latest high definition cameras and edit their work using Final Cut Pro. The basic filmmaking course has a lower tuition cost than the advanced program.
