The fused deposition modeling (FDM otherwise known, ie Fused Deposition Modeling), is a technology that allows to realize in particular thermoplastic polymers, through a process of deposition of material in the molten state. The FDM allows to produce prototypes with attractive aesthetic and functional characteristics thanks to the great quality of the materials used and their individual characteristics. Partec, with the help of its reliable Fortus 400mc, produces prototypes of four different mat... erials: ABS, PC, PC-ABS and ULTEM. The first is an extremely versatile material, stable and characterized by a good finish. The second has high mechanical characteristics and excellent resistance. The third, strictly black, combines the best properties of both, while the ULTEM is characterized by superior mechanical properties, high resistance to flame temperature and certification. Whatever the necessary solution to the customer, in Partec its realization is possible. Beside the activity of rapid prototyping, Partec is able to internally carry out a wide range of finishes that allow to obtain a prototype in line with the customer's needs.
