Primus Green Energy, Inc., based in Hillsborough, N.J., has developed an innovative alternative fuel technology that economically produces drop-in transportation fuels such as high-octane gasoline, diesel fuel or jet fuel directly from syngas derived from natural gas, biomass and other carbon-rich feedstocks. These drop-in fuels can be used directly in engines as a component of standard fuel formulas without costly engine modifications or changes to the fuel delivery infrastructure. Primus’ ST... G+ technology, which is a proprietary version of proven commercial technologies, has recorded the highest conversion efficiency rate in the industry, and enables cost-effective deployment of gas-to-liquids at small scales, 6000 bpd or less. Primus has a fully operational, 100,000 gallon-per-year demonstration plant at its Hillsborough facility that converts natural gas directly into 90+-octane gasoline. Primus is commercializing its technology by building, owning and operating industrial-scale plants (2,000 bpd+) and by building for customers small-scale (1,000 bpd and less) flared-gas recovery units.More
