RheEnergise is bringing innovation to pumped hydro storage with High-Density Hydro®. Our mission is to develop ultra-low-cost energy storage projects which will help facilitate massive growth in clean renewable energy and solve the intermittency problem associated with solar and wind power. High-Density Hydro is based on conventional pumped hydro, but utilises a high-density fluid instead of water, meaning that projects can be 60% smaller for the same power. RheEnergise’s HD Hydro will be the lowest cost energy storage solution available, offering the greatest flexibility to the power grid.
