Social Enterprise is a concept which is now considered as a vehicle to sustainability for organisations operating for social purpose. Adopting a business model, diversifying income streams, and engaging with similar organisations has benefited many organisations across Lancashire. Social Enterprise Lancashire Network (SELNET) was established in 2005 by a group of Social Enterprise practitioners who recognised the support needed for voluntary & community organisations and social businesses to flourish.
