When a small/medium company or an internal team needs a data platform to track KPIs or get insights from data, it's more complicated than it should be. It requires a datawarehouse to store data from many sources, an ETL tool to manipulate, aggregate, join the data. Then, it requires a dataviz tool like Tableau or PowerBI. And adding a small Python script to run an ad-hoc computation or data-import is over-complicated (setup a machine, or AWS lambda...).
