SOLECTRON TECHNOLOGY INC.

Solectron Corporation was a global electronics manufacturing company. Solectron was established in 1977 by Roy Kusumoto and provided outsourced manufacturing services to third parties. In recent years, the company’s main businesses consisted of designing, manufacturing products and providing after-sales services to original equipment manufacturers. The company manufactured main frame computers, notebooks, routers, automobile airbag control modules, cellular infrastructure and x-ray equipment. Solectron was acquired by Singapore-based Flextronics in 2007.
