Sterling Fibers started as the acrylic fiber plant for american cyanamid focusing on textile end uses such as carpets, sweaters, socks, and blankets. Today, the focus is on modifying fiber architecture for specialty applications in friction materials, gaskets, specialty papers, conductives, and stucco.
