THE INTERNATIONAL COMPUTER SCIENCE INSTITUTE (ICSI)

The International Computer Science Institute (ICSI) operates as a center for research in computer science and an independent, non-profit research institute in the United States. Focused on international collaboration, ICSI brings together experts from around the world in areas such as computer networking, speech and language processing, bioinformatics, computer architecture, computer vision, and artificial intelligence. It works to accomplish its goal through active international visitor programs where researchers from abroad visit ICSI to work with staff scientists and its networks of academic, government, and industrial partners. Founded in 1988, The International Computer Science Institute is based in Berkeley, California.
