THE POSITIVE SCHOOLS CENTER
The Positive Schools Center offers training and coaching to schools and organizations, and leadership in Community Schools, and advocacy. The Positive Schools Center aims to collaborate with school districts to identify and address issues related to school climate and punitive discipline, particularly when those issues result in high rates of suspensions and expulsions. The Center was created to assist Maryland's K-12 school system is changing its school climate. The Positive Schools Center was... founded in 2015 to provide Maryland schools with coaching and staff development, community school programming, and policy recommendations. The PSC collaborates with schools to shift perspectives and transform the places where people teach, learn, and live by building relationships with school teams.
