The Royal Society of Chemistry is the U.K.’s professional body for chemical scientists, supporting and representing its members and bringing together chemical scientists from all over the world. It has over 50,000 members. It also publishes journals, books and eBooks, databases, and magazines, covering the fields of biology, biophysics, energy and environment, engineering, materials, medicine, and physics. The Royal Society of Chemistry was founded in 1841 and is headquartered in Piccadilly.
