Witan Publishing was founded by a coalition of scholars, editors, and information technology experts to produce rigorously peer-reviewed works of medieval and medievalist scholarship. Witan Publishing uses innovative technologies to bring research from the era of manuscripts into twenty-first century electronic culture. Producing a variety of articles, books and scholarly collections, Witan is dedicated to disseminating medieval scholarship as widely as possible, making resources available to those on even the most limited research budgets.
