YOUNG HARRIS COLLEGE

A small, private Methodist college situated in the lovely mountains of Young Harris, Georgia, Young Harris College offers comprehensive undergraduate academics in a tight-knit community that values intellectual pursuits, art and spirituality. Students at Young Harris College may earn a bachelor’s degree through one of the school’s distinctive divisions. Among them are the divisions of Fine Arts, Humanities, and Math and Science. Students at Young Harris are also very involved in their camp... us, whether they’re performing in a play, attending a campus concert or visiting the school planetarium or art gallery. Students may also work at the student newspaper, get involved in political, cultural or special interest clubs, and engage in community service. Spirituality is a major part of the Young Harris College experience. In addition to the spiritual and moral questions raised in classroom discussions, students participate in one of the available campus fellowship and ministry groups. Students seeking admission will need to fill out an application online and submit SAT scores and transcripts. Young Harris awards merit scholarships to help eligible students to cover tuition. Need-based financial aid is also awarded to those who qualify.More
