ASSOCIATION FOR VASCULAR ACCESS

The Association for Vascular Access (AVA) is a non-profit organization of healthcare professionals that was promote the growing specialty of vascular access. Today, its diverse membership conducts research, provides professional and public education to modify practice and improve patient outcomes, and collaborates with the device manufacturing sector to bring about evidence-based vascular access advancements. The aim of the American Vascular Access Association (AVA) is to identify the vascular access specialty and develop vascular access standards using an evidence-based approach to improve healthcare outcomes. Education, vascular access, healthcare, patient safety, medical, nursing, and other services are provided by AVA.
