Virtual Active is a forward-motion video experience designed to enhance its users’ cardio workouts. Shot in beautiful locations around the world, the company transports its users to iconic trails, roads, cities, and landscapes, turning indoor exercise into an outdoor adventure. Guided workouts include helpful instructions from a professional trainer, while the basic workouts allow its users to set their own pace and enjoy the scenery. It offers its users with advanced cycle and mind-body fitness programs; hike series for use while walking on a treadmill, elliptical, or stepper; run series for use while running on a treadmill or elliptical; and video packs collection. Virtual Active was founded in 2009 by John Ford. The company was acquired by Netpulse on November 15, 2011.
